No. I love to surf. I like watching the WSL events. But it should not be an Olympic sport. What would a truly Olympic event consist of? Is it a right or a left? Can't count on Olympic worthy waves. It will be a one year trial and it will be pulled. If it could be held at 8-10 ft Pipe with Pipe and Backdoor working through the event, then get it done.

maybe when slaters barrel fest pools are on every continent? However Tokyo being the first showcase of surf, well who knows???
