Only thing I hate is that they're seemingly going the way of the giant corporate BS.
Still it fucking rules.

Most local stores are doing the unlimited rental thing now, but what netflix offers is a huge library of films.
If you like older movies or art movies, you can't beat it.
With the queue, you can finally get around to watching the movies that you've been meaning to see for weeks, but always forget about when you're at the video store. These guys would make a killing if they got into porn rentals, though.
It's the nuts. Less $$ than the local vid store. Whole lot less hassle. And you can plan your movie selections while you work. What could be better. BTW the turn around time is exceptional. Drop them in th email one day next day I usually get an e-mail saying they have it and another one a couple hours later saying they are mailing. Next day after that movies in the mail box.
Damn, we're in a tight spot!
I agree, my family loves netflix. I never go to movie theaters, so this way I get to see a lot of movies I would never see. Just watched RAY last weekend, great flick.

Hell yeah. And by the way, for everyone that likes movies so bad they're good, add 'Scorpion' to the list. It's the tale of Scorpion, a total badass who totally knows karate (not really, but he gives it the old college try). As proclaimed boldly by the cover, he's "BAD NEWS FOR BAD GUYS!"
My brother loves watching movies that were made in SE asia and were intended for that audience. Basically, B movies from Korea and shit like that. It's actually a pretty interesting hobby... a study in contrast, if you will, between american and asian acting styles and film making techniques. Some of these guys are worse than Keanu Reeves, no joke.

Yes, I like netflix, and lego and I use it now. Love it! But I've already searched for 1 or 2 movies I haven't been able to find. I haven't found "In the name of the Father" which I want to see because, well, I'm a u2 fan and they did that soundtrack.Aside from that, they have everything I've wanted so far.....
Definitely a top 5 exception to the rule that guys can't cry at the movies, not that I'd know anything about that. I think i've got something in my eye...Originally Posted by divegirl
