Damn - can't quite make it there in time. However just in case - what are you riding these days?

    Leaving the office any minute...

Gonna go to Hall for a quick lap - be there about 4:30 if anybody else can make it. Red Chevy Colorado & a Klien.

Had a great ride at Hall today. Not too crowded, not too hot, blasted it pretty dam fast and followed it up with a nice steak on the grill!

I think I'm headed to White ranch on sat. but it's more to find a good beginner ride for a school trip. We're lookin for something around 6-8 miles and easy to moderate with few steep hills. We're in Golden. any recs? thanks

i would advise against white ranch as a beginner ride. Go with a loop at Green Mountain for a beginner ride. white ranch from the bottom to the very top is 1700' of climbing, you can opt out of the near the very top of belcher after 1400-1500', technical hurdles here and there on certain trails. Unless your students are into suffering, i would take them to Green mtn. Another good one is Lair of the Bear. check http://www.co.jefferson.co.us/ext/dp...ac/leadpg2.htm
    for details on Jeffco parks

Z and Art, lets say noon tomorrow at the bottom parking lot, i'll be there regardless. If its thundering I won't be there, but a few clouds won't scare me away.

ahhh white ranch is cool ive ridden that, a bitch for the climbs but some fun downhilling.

looks like ill either be skiing or getting my car fixed. next time, technical climbing is my downfall anyways..

I just hit Meyer's Ranch. Easy but fun. Uncrowded on a weekday. Nice smooth singletrack. My dog liked it too.
    More gauze pads, please hurry!

I live right on 19th near the first road crossing for chimney. I usually just go from my house up to the trail head and start there rather than from the bottom off 6th. I might be able to make 5ish, but I'm not sure yet. Let me know you're plans and I might join in.

Anyone wanna hit up chimney gulch this week? I like to go to the top and connect with apex, cruise down and hit the road back to the base of chimney.
