Way back when I was just a tween we were at Lake O'Hara in the Yoho Nat'l Forest and my mother was feeding a marmot a piece of orange when the darn thing bit her.

Haha, I woke up my last day on the Colorado trail and one of my socks was missing. I'd laid both socks over my backpack under the vestibule of my tent overnight to dry. Thought I'd heard a critter in the night but it never occurred to me the fucker would take a sock. My food was well packed away.

Whale watching on the water in a small 1-2 person watercraft ........ what could possibly go wrong?? I'm amazed, with as many times as this has already happened, that no one's died yet. I mean, if the Yellowstone River had whales in it, we'd be well passed 50 deaths by now.
