I agree. I'm not going to race the thing. As a matter of fact I'm going to go slow to not spook fish. Something better than this:
But not $1000.

Well maybe I'm the faggot America
I'm not a part of a redneck agenda
Luckily I won't be going into the city for work, which will be about about 30 min away. Just bought a place on 8 acres, going to live in for a few years, save some cash then build a new home on it. Hoping to be able to build about a mile of trail on the property for the kids to ride and hike. Have done plenty of city living for the past 10 years, excited to have some space and we're 4 miles from the train if I ever want to catch a cubs game or dinner in the city.
Will have to check out Oak Brook
Oak Brooks good because of limited access, big houses on private lakes. Barington should be similar, if you can get on the water.
I wouldn't plan on building here. The tax burden is already high and the state is completely out of money, with the largest pension deficit in the country.
Taxes will go up even more and the RE market has reacted. You can buy a lot more house, than you can build.
I've been here 25 years and I can't wait to leave next year But I do have the outdoor recreational activities wired here, if you need any advice?
We're skiing the Fox in the AM?
Best of luck!
