    Single Speed tensioner suggestions

Anyone using one they love? I'm bringing my 1996 Jamis Dragon back to life as a singlespeed and am looking for ideas. Thx.

I liked the DMR STS - no springs, just set it and it stays. Cheap and reliable.

old short cage road derailer works well, and most shops will have one for beer/free?

also playing with both front and back ring sizes, and new vs used chains, and geared vs non-geared chains, you MIGHT find a magic combo that doesn't need a tensioner.

Ran this till I started towing a chariot up some hills and needed gears. Best Tensioner out there and YESS is now out of biz. Lemme know if you're interested in it as I just put it up for sale.

Edit: This was on a Dragon HT as well!

Thanks for the suggestions--just went with the DMR one. This is gonna be a "light duty" bike, so trying to spend as little coin as possible.
