Here's my pitch: there is no other steed in the Pinkbike buy/sell section that will let you #enduro as hard as this Chris Cocalis-designed carbon fiber magic carpet, or let you #doyouevendriftbro quite as well. It's been scientifically proven that no other mountain bike will get you closer to the experience you imagine Aladdin had as he was hauling ass above Zanzibar on that rug endowed with magical powers than this fun machine will. The Pivot Mach 6 has a simply grin-inducing combination of comfort at speed and in the gnar with a much more lively, responsive, wirey feel than most bikes in this travel class. If you like bikes that are as playful as they are fast, look no further. The 150 mm fork may make this iteration of the Mach 6 a little more trail-friendly with others, although, especially after the FIT4 damper upgrade, it was perfectly at home in the bike park and in stacking epic mid-pack results in amateur men's enduro races. I think maybe there was a top five in there somewhere. It's got a chip or two here and there - yes, it was ridden, my apologies - but the girl is well-endowed and simply ready to CRUSH!! Plus - DUDE! - I'm throwing in a free mud guard. Guaranteed to increase enduro race speeds by nearly 7.6%. Seriously.

"Don't know you dude" price is $3500 but certainly willing to haggle with a mag. LMK! Parts kit below:

Frame: Pivot Mach 6 carbon, size Large
Fork: Fox 34 Kashima 150 mm w/FIT4 damper upgrade (mint feel! what a giant upgrade from the CTD damper, dear god...)
Shock: Fox Float X CTD 155 mm
    Brakes: Shimano XTR
Wheels: Vittoria Deamon alu wheels (maybe 5-10 rides on 'em?)
Crank: XX1 cranks w/34T OneUp chainring. MRP guide and bash guard!
Drivetrain: SRAM XX1 w/XO shifter, XX1 rear derailleur, 10-44 t range w/OneUp 44T granny gear upgrade. Get up those fireroads no matter how hungover you are!
Post: KS LEV Integra cable-actuated dropper post 125 mm
Tires: Vittoria Goma 27.5 x 2.4" (maybe 5-10 rides, nearly fresh)
Pedals: crankbrothers 5050 3 flats (if you're interested)
Bars: Bontrager carbon bars, 780 mm
Stem: Race Face Respond, 50 mm
    Seat: WTB Volt

New brake pads, new grips, new cable and housing for drivetrain and dropper as of this April.
Extras: Stan's FLOW EX wheelset w/Maxxis High Roller II front and Specialized Slaughter rear tire. Tread on both probably at 60%, rear wheel needs a new spoke or two and a trueing.

As you can see, there's some nics here and there, but it's in great operating condition.

I'll send you $5 if you put that seat in a normal position and take the pics again.

Curious what you are riding now if not the Pivot. Just bought a done up Mach 6, M70 wheels etc. Would have considered yours if it had been a week or so ago...

Damn that sounds sick! Riding some Diamondback test bike (the release) for the TGRz right now. May look into an Evil

Sorry for the hijack (free bump?) but I'm curious about that Release; any idea if the corporate folk are doing demos anywhere? Easy to find a DB shop, harder to find one in stock.

Hmmm... Maybe check their website? I'll ask. I'd imagine they'd want to be getting people on their new bike.

I'd imagine so, too, but their site (and Google) have been surprisingly unhelpful so far.

Nice build on this 6 for that money.

Sounds like they only have a consumer demo in Seattle this June. You can read my initial impressions after a day on the bike here: http://www.tetongravity.com/story/bi...on-first-impre

Generally pretty impressed with the bike. For the money, you're getting a very good-pedaling suspension platform, a great parts spec, and a bike that absolutely loves to corner. It doesn't leap into the air like my Pivot or weigh as little, but I think it's a big step forward for DB. Next hopefully the back wheel is black not red, that's a common fashion complaint, but I like the bike.

I've always thought of the Evil bikes as a solid option to consider. Have heard some recent anecdotes about shitty customer service. Anyone else have experience with them?
However many are in a shit ton.

True. But the Mach 6 is a SICK bike. The insurgent and the Mach are some of the only bikes I've done a single ride on and have been convinced beyond doubt I have to have one.

It's a 2014 and has two seasons on it. First season was bike shop owner who had it more as an XC bike and then me who did a season full of dope wheelies on it.

Yes but I have a great showing room. There is a ton of sport related clutter everywhere, a meat locker and warm beer.
