I just requested they send the car to Denver. I've driven a few other luxury cars through carmax recently, and they've all been sort of beat to shit. The guy I talked to today didn't even seem to be aware of the concept of a PPI. I can't say I have super high hopes, but we'll see. CM has a 5 day money back guarantee, so if it's nice, I might buy it and drive it for a few days and then decide.
If you get the warranty, you can basically do a frame off restoration, on their dollar.
I've witnessed it, when I managed a Porsche store.

Even for interior and trim stuff? That was one of the things that turned me off on those S5s I looked at... Worn out upholstery and lots of loose shit hiding behind the dash, door panels, etc.. Not into buying a $50k car that I immediately have to strip the interior out of.
I am not sure about interior, but I am sure there is something they sell that will warranty it.
I have a 16 F12 with less than 1000 miles. The interior is perfect. Let me know.

For $50k? PM me your bank info. The money will be there even before you wake up. Lol..
I was just looking at the 997 pics again... I don't want that car. It's just not the right thing. The morning I wake up and there's a 911 sitting in the driveway, and it has a radiator attached to it, I'm going to want to drive it off a cliff. One day all these 964s will have been rebuilt already, and financial gravity will once again resume existence in the p-car marketplace. In the meantime, I think the R is still the best compromise... Or maybe your $50k F12...

Just, wow.
Can I borrow $37? I'm a little short of the asking price.

As long as the current buyer is confident another buyer will emerge a year from now willing to pay $2,583,836.64, it would be a good buy.

A fiery crash southwest of Eugene on Saturday morning sent two people to the hospital and burned a luxury car down to the frame.
A 2015 red Ferrari, identified as a 488 model by members of a group called Ferrari Chat, went off Crow Road at about 3 a.m., after the driver swerved to miss a deer, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred a half-mile from Petzold Road.
Deputies arrived at the crash scene to find the car upside down and on fire. The driver and passenger were out of the car when authorities arrived. Firefighters arrived and put out the flames.
According to photos posted in the Ferrari Chat website, the frame of the car and a wheel looked to be all that was left. Sheriff’s Sgt. Carrie Carver said the crash caused some property damage. Photos show some burned trees around the crash scene.
The conditions of the driver and passenger were not immediately known. Alcohol is not believed to a factor in the crash, Carver said.
According to Ferrari’s website, a 488 model has a base price of more than $245,000.
A good detailer should be able buff that out.
