Don't get me wrong, I love skiing pow. But if it's snowing in CO, the avalanche danger is usually elevated as well. And I love skiing steep stuff in the backcountry too. So when our recent dry spell dropped the avy rose to green across most of the state, I jumped at the chance to go ski some bigger lines.

Looking like it might be back to meadow skipping pow again for now. No complaints, need some nice sticky spring storms to fill in the alpine a bit more. Then we can do more of this in a couple months!
