    Does anybody Know the name of the song?

    That they play before like every hockey game you know the one that has just the guitar at the beggining and then a second guitar comes in and then drums and a different riff happens
    Its not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care

    Close - it's by Gary Glitter. I think the song is called "Rock and Roll, Part 2," but I'm not sure.

    On a strange side note, a few years back he was convicted of trafficing child pornography on the Internet!

    Believe it or not, Rock and Roll Part 2 doesn't match the bizarre, vague description of the song that was given. It is probably the most frequently played song (over the years) at hockey games, but I've never heard it played at the beginning--usually after a goal.
    The stupid description of the Gary Glitter song should've been: thumping drums, then one guitar, bass and other guitar comes in, then a chorus with a sort of chant...
    or something like that.

    Gary Gilmore was the guy who got executed in Oklahoma, written about by Norman Mailer in "The Executionor's Song".

    I don't think that's the song you were thinking of, though.
