Moonrise at the Abbey
The Abbey at night.
The sisters Galley. Jane (on the right) is a JH fixture. The chick goes up like teenaged boy and down like a stud. I want to be like Jane when I grow up
Booting up (without me). I was skiing somewhere else probably not as cool, but hey I'm not averse to posting other peoples photos up without their permission and calling them mine.
Loucksie throwing em down
Robbie going away
This one reminds me of the Chilcoot trail. Not because we are going to chase gold in the interior of BC, or because it was taken in the late 1800's. But because we had tons of great wine, excellent food and soup awaiting us at the lodge at the end of the day - just like the gold prospectors of old.
Another Loucksie
First Acensionist Billy B. Slayer of Yamnuska, buyer of good wine.
For this photo I stood where ace guide Roger Laurilla told me too, used the shutter and aperture he suggested and then clicked. Basically it's his photo, but whatever, it came from my camera card.... suck it Roger
Hut co-owner and co-worker Loree, having fun on the home spread.
Rookie Saskatchewan tourer Leanne, not harvesting canola.
Vivian and Roger doing the duo.
Custodian Chris crushing it.
Vivian happy.
Another wicked trip to the Abbey. Fun side note, ran into Drommond and a Seattle crew exiting the hut as we were going in. Sounds like they had an amazing time as well. If you can get into this place (it books up at least a year in advance, best to book 2 years ahead to be safe), do it. You will be a happy person (and likely better) if you do.
