My local mountain isn't gnarly enough to justify the SG and as I already have the older goat, probs better to get the C&D for travelling... Too much over lap with a SG and old BG from what I've heard.
It’s a slightly longer, stiffer, asym and updated RES version of the old 191 BG.
Just giving you the quick differences 
C&D is the magic stick if you are skiing untracked for Lap after lap. SG is the good call if it is getting hammered and tracked out ala Vail on President’s Day.
