Thanks for all the thoughts, much to think about especially now that 124s are available in non custom (124 too much for CO Rockies or nah?). Here’s some CASTified WD110 50/50 stoke to show my appreciation

Unlikely but fingers crossed ON3P does a factory run of the J124 in the tour layup. I think a lot of folks would be super stoked on that. I'd love some 191 Jeff124 tours to go with my Caylors for inbounds (custom would be sick but just can't justify it at the moment).

Well, as much shit as I talked about no 124 back when the 'new' lineup consisted of a K116 as the widest ski in the platform, I pretty much have to buy a pair and I would totally be down w/ the concept of a J124T
I measured the 189 Wren 102 mount point at about -11cm from center. Thats pretty far back. I skied them on the line a bit a liked them, but felt the tips were getting away from me a bit on some steeper chutes. I went forward 2cm and like them there. It feels like you are right on top of the sidecut and can carve them easier. That would be -9cm from center, which is still further back end of the spectrum for skis these days.
The J124 drops. Extra soft flex?

Bg 110 in stock layup is better than 116 IMO and I mean both versions
Now cease and desist is a different animal altogether

I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I assumed it would be on the ON3P approach to the flex scale. I can’t see them noodling it up but was surprised to see that as an advertised highlight. That said I get you don’t need a ski that is purely soft snow specific overly burly. Could advertise as the float flex along the same lines as the ripper rocker. Catchy yet literal.

Good listen, as usual when Scott's on. Need some more BG reports this season
Wanting to try out the Billy Goats. Found that I have been enjoying directional skis more as of late.
Going to part with my Jeffrey 118s to help fund my curiosity. Length is 186cm. Only one mount, will include bindings. Would prefer to sell to someone local in PDX. Message me for pics/details. Figured I would post here before advertising in the buy/sell section.
The shape on those asym billy goats looks awesome
I have a fresh pair of stock 189 asyms in plastic with custom topsheets, sidewalls and bases on Craigslist but will discount any mags who want em, hit me up.

That was pretty good.
I haven’t looked at the website in a while, but the way Scott breaks it down by mount point / stance is so much easier than trying to explain the nuances of Mango vs Jeff vs Woods. I think it’s a bit of a marketing failure that you have to go to the “Custom Skis” page to get an explanation of the mount points between the various series. He needs a selection guide landing page, in addition to adding just a couple of sentences at the top of the anding page for each series (park, freestyle, freeride) explaining the mount point and skier style philosophy.
Shop by mount point and then pick the dimensions that work best for your needs.

Marketing has never been their strong suit. If they weren't so overwhelmed by their current workload I'd offer to help them with marketing to get them the attention they deserve.
I'm not sure why there is any confusion. The description of what each model is meant to be skied like makes it quite evident. People on this forum have been trying to make round pegs fit in square holes for years. The amount of people who have wanted to mount a progressive ski traditionally is silly. You want a Jeffrey, but also want to mount it like a Wrenegade/Vicik/Woodsman, etc? Then you don't want a Jeffrey.

New BG 108Ts. I've never owned this ski, but have spent a lot of time on all of its big BG brothers.
I think it's going to be delightful for skiing weird snow comfortably at medium speeds, which sums up 90% of the touring I do these days.

I'm especially stoked on the white sidewalls. Super clean looking, do recommend.
I have a pair of BG 110 tour and been using them for a couple years. They ski well in 3D snow and handle crusty snow reasonably well. Only issue I have has is when skiing groomers on the runout when touring above a resort. Thats not what it is meant for though. Its a great ski for back country snow. A little light to use inbounds though.
