This one? It's how I picture growing up in Iowa, loving roller blading, but there's always too much snow on the ground, then going international with zee skillz. Certainly some impressive and gnarly urban mini golf going down

ahaha - yeah - I watched the first quarter. I can't relate to this at all - it is not for me. Like at all, on any level, except having fun on your skis.

Which is fine - at 115000 something plays they seem to be doing well for themselves.

Anybody know what happened to the older Japan Midasu Series with Karl Fostvedt and John Ware? Those were some of the best pow stoke vids out there. All my searches go to dead links now.

That being said, I can def appreciate that they are great for a certain demographic / skiers. Their focus on having fun while doing mini shred (+ some gnarly urban shit) are probably a lot more relatable for lots of kids than really capital intensive big mounting skiing necessitating heli or snow mobiles. So I really like that about them. And Mango's skiing is just bonkers at times - like, how is it even possible.

Which movie did you watch btw?

I do not know - not sure that I have seen those, but I really like this one:

On3p still puts out big mountain content, but it's quite a bit harder to find. The bunch et al gets so much hype (rightly so), it drowns out the other stuff.

I'll track down the last one I watched sometime this week.

People interested in big mountain/pow typically buy a brand based on it's merits. NS kids fap non-stop to instagram, and edits like Zootspace. Or even who is currently currently sponsored by the brand. Kids have literally pontificated if a brand is in trouble because a D level instagram pro switched sponsors.

These were so good but all dead end links or video not available anymore. Maybe proprietary conflict.

Edit: good find Kapow. Looks like some of the same footage from Midasu.

Additionally, it's just a hell of a lot cheaper and easier to film urban flippy spinny shit than big mountain.

Right, and even those sweet in-resort edits Sander used to do while skiing ON3P are out of budget for homegrown creators with lift tickets at current prices. Take it to the streets

Lol you're not wrong. Newschoolers is a silly place. Lots of the "favorite pro" answers are those "D" level guys. I'd probably put me in that camp too tbh. Andrew bird et al do some pretty great stuff in Utah. Easy to relate.

Not that TGR is much better looking at the FWT thread lol.

Hilarious to see the one ski brand question overlap as well. Moment and ON3P are pretty much the most frequent answers on both sites.

man, BGasyms are something else in super moist/dense fresh that is intermittently (very) sun affected.

They ski so well in this kind of snow where the is a fair bit of resistance in the snow to push against, and where the pin tail design just makes them slide through the snow instead of having the tails brake.

I must admit to clicking better with Dynastar M-Free 118 189s (186 straight pull) in drier, mid winter snow, but then again BGasym 184s blew the MF118s out of the water today. So much fun.

yes, this is thrilling news indeed.

I have a pair of BG118 and thinking of putting Attacks 14s on them. Looks like the brake options are 110 and 130…The only experience I have with Attacks is a pair I put on my Bent Chetler 120s and those were the 130s and they are huge…would the 110 fit on the 118?

It’s these same attributes of my Cease & Desists that I love so much. In heavier, high water content manky snow, the asym tails just slice thru. I was out on Weds and the fresh snow was a bit heavy and I was glad I took the C&D’s versus the Caylor’s.

With 40 or so days on my new Woodsman 102 187s, all I can say is WOW. They're exactly the difference I was looking for compared to my K108s. Less centered, more directional, and quicker edge to edge.

These things TRUCK in everything from powder to hard pack. They lay absolute trenches in the firm, float in the soft stuff, with everything in between pretty much tits on these skis. They reward speed and power like few skis I've been on, while still being remarkably forgiving. Bravo, ON3P!

Some BG 110s are on the acquisition list for next season.

Bunch of new stuff on the Factory Finds.

The Trash Can 186 Jeff 102s are pretty enticing for $899

Has anyone spent time on the Wren 110 Pro? Non-custom wrenegades seem to be going away and I'm very tempted to grab a pair before they are gone for good.

A, dammit - I have been waiting for those to go live. I had my sights set on the 187 BG110s with the BG16 graphic. Oh well, just as well - I have way too many skis as is

I decided to join the ON3P cult after much research and deliberation. Not a huge fan of the stock topsheet so was thinking of going custom, but the 2016 topsheet looked good so pulled the trigger. Can’t wait to get them on the snow!

That's awesome - perfect timing - your first ON3P and what is arguably one of their best graphics ever to boot!

I really like the standard graphic as well - they both look great in person.

Not me but I had started to refresh the page daily. Whoever bought them saved me too. Plus 102s are too narrow for what I need.
