In powder they release very well.
I skied 18” of variable wind blown powder at Alta yesterday on the BG. Lower eddies was covered in sharks and several snow covered rocks. I’m fairly certain I had more fun popping off of more random knolls and Ollieing over rocks than I had while skiing pachinko with 24” fresh on it with my Bibbys.
Bottom line. It skis powder however you want it to ski powder. Poppy and slashy when you want it to be. Able to make any turn shape and size you want. Doesn’t cut hung up on mank. Wants to ski fast.
If the Armada ARG, Armada Magic J, DPS Wailer RPC112C, and Jeffrey 108 had a massive orgy, this might be the ski that results.
In all seriousness, after skiing 1 run on my 189 BG my BIL decided to sell his RPC112c an get these instead.
I’ve owned the following skis and would be happy to make a full comparison of any of them if you pressed me hard enough: WD108, J108, J116, BG, Magic J, ARG, JJ, Donner Party, Super7, S7, S6, Steeze, Bibby Pro, Prophet 130, 4Frnt Renegade, VCT, Bibby Pro, Rocker2 108, Mindbender 99ti
I’ve also had extensive access to the following and may be able to compare to these as well: Wren 108, RPC112c, Sumo, Chopstick, Hellbent, EP Pro, Pontoon, Comi, Garbones, Norwalk, Pilsner EHP, PBJ
