    and a happy medium

    Do you mean these...?

The graffiti topsheet was ugly as shit, but dam did I and still love the original 191 Wrens... Bomber as shit and still one of the best day after crud/junk ski... And somehow not demanding at all...

Hoping my custom Grizzly Corn 186 Viciks make up for them... I had Scott add extra carbon to make them stiffer and a bit ballsier and he def delivered...

I will admit digging my new 98 189 Wren topsheet...

    Perhaps...I'll let you know.

They're a pair of older 186 Viciks with a BillyGoat topsheet with STH16's mounted on Sollyfit plates.

If you have the gumption to come down to South Lake Tahoe for some demo days, I can host you.

Feedback from this weekend in VT was strong. Sold at least one pair as the result of the demo saturday with several more people expressing strong interest. The wren 98 was a hit with people too. Hope everyone got out and after it this weekend.

Got out on my BG's today at Kirkwood. It was crusty and icy. For as fat as they are, I really didn't have any issues with them on icy groomers, crusty off piste mank and the corn. Up high the snow was reasonable, but only for about 1/3 of the run before things hardened up again. While these were certainly not ideal conditions for the BG, I'm impressed with how well they performed. Held and edge way better at speed than going slow tho, but still manageable and predictable.

All in all, a fun day of riding and getting to know my new planks.

edit to add: brought the 4Frnt Kye 95's with me but was having too much fun on the BG's to bother going back to the parking lot to get them.

Need a bit of advise for mounting position on the 2016 102 Steeples I got in 184 length, would have got the 189 but they had sold out. The mark looks to me to be a bit forward for my 28.5 mercury boots. I have a set of Rad speeds that will be doing the clamping duties. I am 6' and 210lbs with out gear.

How far back can I go with the mount and still be good? These are obviously going to be used for touring purposes.

I am asking as last year I mounted a set of Praxis 98s on the mark and they skied like shit. I moved the mount back nearly 2" on these and its much better.

Well I was reminded today why I like the BG so much. So fast in the pow and just effortless. 21" fresh blower cold smoke.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Shoot me an email. We may have an option for you on the 189cm length if you would prefer.
Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....
