They are so much fun! You guys made one helluva versatile powder ski by blending the Billy Goat design with the C&D concept.

    Hey all,

between 60+ hours a week, 2 little kids, and skiing every chance in between, I don't get much time to post, but just want to say thanks to all the peeps on this ON3P forum. Always really informative and funny convo's.

Plus it's super cool that the ON3P owners are always jumping in with not just marketing plugs but really banter with the crew here.

This has all made me a huge fan of the company which makes it so hard to say I don't think I gelled with my 184cm BGs. No doubt they are burly AF and I've never been on a better ski in Tahoe for that 12:30-4pm tracked out pow day. Truly makes everything disappear. But I never got that super surfy, nimble feel that everyone talks about. I found my 188 Protests and 182 Q and GPO to all be so much turnier and faster to pivot.

Probably should post em up for sale here and either go back to Protest or C&D maybe? Anyone interested in a 16/17 (mounted this year, 12-15 days?) 184 BG?

    This.

I've skied mine so much more this winter than I ever thought I would, even though we've had a shitty season over here. They're easy to grab, because they're just so damn fun.

Oh yeah, and they were a blast in Japan.

Dammit - those 179 BGs really speak to me. Alas, re post #6679. I think.

I continue to be impressed by you CS though Iggy - second to none!

That’s a bummer. The C&D was high on my radar.

Stiff at that width/shape would defeat the floatation. That was the problem with the 11/12 C&D. Didn't float as well as the BG cause it was too planky. Not like Scott is going to build a weak ski...

Speaking of C&D - if anyone who bought a black-topsheet 189 cm model this year wants to trade (I'll throw in cash) for my 189s (these were Jay's, stock topsheet, minty, one mount for attacks on the line 307mm BSL), hit me up. Not a huge fan of the topsheet design, would prefer black.

Will happily ride them next season, but worth a shot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Stiffer than a 191 would be perfect, esp in the tip. My only complaint of the 191.

the previews look pretty damned good thus far!

Also, the spring cleaning also seems to be a success thus far. Fewer and fewer pairs remaining. Grab them while you can eh?

Nah. I had Xtra stiff 1st gens.
    Floatation was never an issue.

    I had first gens, too.

And I had 11/12s, which floated less well than 191BGs despite massive rocker and stiff flex. IMO.

Whatever. New ones look pretty dialed

11/12 looks way better than 1st gen.
I've never skied the 191 BG.
More commenting on the flex/width/shape theorem. As a bigger dude, I don't mind my fat skis not being noodles.
Agreed on the new ones looking dialed

But for real though - those C&Ds look amazing and makes me all the more keen to keep mine, ( and in the process forget the deal I made with myself to sell them for a second pair of w114s)
    Sorry it took so long

Perfection! Very, very appreciated! Thank you The ability to zoom in and really appreciate the graphic is very welcome. They look amazing imo.

I looked at a pair of that years C&Ds in a store here in Scandiland a few years back as I was just getting on the ON3P train. I kinda regret not buying them. Oh well, the increased versatility of the new ones probably make them a better fit for my needs. Time will tell.

C&D graphics usually look so incredibly good. Black + red + (good vs ) evil/biblical themes = instant classics!

    thanks again!
