So many topsheets.
I think this is what we've been getting requests for outside of what is listed to the point that if you ask, we'll build it.

optics got their last pair of 88's but if anyone is interested in a new pair of either 179 or 184, 17/18, Wren 98's, Skiers Sport Shop in Edmonton has a pair of each left they are selling cheap.
Shipping is $50CAD but at $499 CAD that's $422 USD shipped.

looks like they bumped their prices up to $629CAD. Odd. Too bad.

damnnnnn that is tempting. i think i’ve convinced myself i should go kartel over wren for daily/cochise replacement.
As their categories on the web site suggest the Kartel it a little more fun to pop of little candy store features, make quick turns, but capable everywhere on the mountain. The Wren is a little more straight air, bigger turns, point and go, but still fun everywhere. I enjoy skiing all of ON3P’s skis, but something about the Kartel just clicks with me.

Have to agree w/ Bruce here... I’ve skied my wife’s Wren’s and borrowed a friends Wren 98’s for a few runs, great skis but more like what Bruce described. I have stiff Kartel’s to give them a little more backbone and love the setup (xtra carbon). The cut, pop, bounce, and generally feel fun while still laying trenches at speed or if I feel like making is a GS-style run from top to bottom. They’re great DD skis for when there’s no new snow and the BG’s stay at home...
The Kartel for a Cochise replacement though? The Wren seems like the better choice for a Cochise replacement, unless you’re looking for something completely different and much quicker.

ehhhh for reference, i have the later model Caylor and i’m leaning toward that fun factor as well as quickness overall. biggest complaint with the cochise (old 193) is a bit dead/slow for me to move around, and probably too much ski for the surroundings/skier. i’ve not been on a wren but do have old vicik’s.
If you already have viciks then ya, go Kartel.

shroomenheimer: if you can, you should try to demo the Wren 108 and K108 before you make the decision. Or, if you manage to find a chinese foot binder on the black market, you're welcome to try my J110. How do you want your new DD to be different than your old Vicik?
Honestly, given how you ski, I think you might love this ski I've been asking ON3P to make: basically a Kartel @ ~110 underfoot with a 26-28m radius, more even flex, less taper, etc. It'd prolly ski a lot like a narrower version of your Caylors with less rocker and a more even flex pattern. But I also know you're not into paying retail for a Champagne room ski...

I’d be in for a pair for 2020.

I want a pair
I’d love an AuvGeek Pro
@auv i did see a reference to your pro model the other day but the googles werent showing me an detail. i do think that’s right up my alley. i won some money in my golf pool recently so champagne room isn’t off the table. now bummed i missed demo daze last year!
What are those?
Those are close. I’m after something with slightly more rocker in the tail than those, and less taper.. what’s the mount point on those?
