Had wanted to order a pair of customs this year, but couldn't really swing it or justify it, let alone decide on pink or black. would love to see what all the fuss is about and everything I've read leads me to believe the W108 would serve me well. I'm tempted to just pull the trigger on stock and be done with it, but when do the 2018/2019 skis drop or more specifically when will we get a look at next year's topsheets? Next September'ish? Probably not the best time to buy, but I'd really like to try them this season. I'm making pizza and fries this weekend, so can't make the demo I heard may be happening.

march 1st I believe powtron said and they should start getting out not long after, that’s kinda the new approach on3p is taking, which is great imho

One-off custom topsheet for a specific customer. Not something that will be publicly available. Initial art direction came from the person who commissioned it to us (building it for his friend) and then Trevor Woods & Trevor Leaf build the graphic out from there. Actually ended up on 2 skis - one stock 2019 model, one of which now that it is designed will be available for custom order if you want it (191cm Kartel 96). They are for someone really well known and we're honestly really not sure what we're allowed to say about it right now, but certainly a really cool opportunity for ON3P to build skis for this individual (and find out he was a skier).

Hopefully we are good to talk about it a bit, but we're playing it safe until they are in hand. There is enough on there that with a bit of thought you could figure out who they are for.

Cost wise...yeah it isn't cheap for us to do a complete custom topsheet.

They really do look great. The 108 especially. I keep going back and forth on the Wren and Kartel as my next ski, but if I did a Kartel I had considered a custom with the W108 top sheet. So nice!

Holy shit just took a run on my friends veneer Wren 88. What a fun ride! So intuitive. Blown away. Brahma killer. This ski likes to turn and on the chop we had today it was slicing and dicing. It is no Wren 98 in the chop but in a pinch it would do...and probably (certainly, for sure, definitely) a higher smile factor than the industry benchmark Blizzard for this class of ski.

I have a base edge beveler coming this week. Going to make sure my 98's are at 1. If they are they are going to 1.5. I am making them work but they still seem a little off. Edges are right there. I need a little more room to slarve the ski around. The 88's on the other hand seemed perfect with the factory tune.

Also 3 consecutive powder days here at Chestnut. So rare.

How much is it? Or is it something you don’t really like to do, and don’t see yourself offering to the general public? Sounds like it could be a PITA?

Both my dobermans passed away this past year, and I would love to get a black and red double dobe graphic on Wren 108s. I would probably cry every time I took them out though..either that or never take them out, so maybe not the best idea.

I don't think I want a 96 if that's replacing the 98. I want a fun front side charger. 5'11" ~200lb

I was out on my W98’s today. Awesome ski. Its perfect for fun frontside charging. Im 6’ 210 lbs riding the 189 on the east coast. I wish I had them last year when I was in Telluride. So smooth when hauling ass but handle the steep bumped up in runs great.

I am 175lbs and telemark the 184 98s and don’t find them too long or demanding at all. I’d go 189 at my weight for alpine.

If it were me, personally, I would wait for the reveal. It's likely you'll still be able to get the current 189 W108 after the reveal happens. YMMV.

I really dig them. Great blend of stability and grace. I’ve primarily been hot lapping groomers on them given the season we are having + times I’ve been able to get north but bought them as my firmer snow go-to so fitting that bill nicely. Expected a burlier lay up but pleasantly surprised with the upsides I am finding in their ease.

Thinking I will be spending more time on them than I initially thought. Pow skis aside they are in competition w Pure3 Wailer 105s for softer days and the 105s are ass-kickers in comparison. Great ski too but rigid and demanding. May be embracing my age and pulling the 98s off the rack more often than not =)

Wren 108’s are more of a quiver ski but one that is the primary ski in your quiver that you use most. But you have something wider and skinnier.

Wren 98 is more of a one ski quiver. Or maybe that and a super wide pow ski or even a BG.

I own both but the 98 is my non pow touring ski, although it’s pretty good in pow which makes it perfect for that purpose when you head out and may ski powder up top but variable shit to get back to the car.

2 quiver slots seems more like w88 and w108 best I can glean from comments in this thread.

Disagree. Every day skiing I doubt you’d notice the 108 vs 98 waist that much. But powder you would. As a single ski quiver 108 all the way.

I’d build a quiver from a sub 19m radius carver at 80mm or so, wren 108, something stupid fat like C’Desist or other
