I am trying to replace a set of daily drivers and I am waffling between a 98 and 108 Wren. I mostly ski in the PNW ( Stevens Pass, Crystal, and Mt. Baker). If I am lucky, I get a few hours in the morning on pow days, but often it is left overs the day after. On real deep days, I have 194 Atomic Automatics at 117mm underfoot, so I think a more narrow ski may be smart.

I'm curious if anyone here as back to back skied the 98 and 108 Wrens, ( or even back to back on the Kartels?)

Or any other recommendation for the slightly heavier PNW snow we get..

I'm fat for a skier, 6ft, 225lbs.... if that helps..
Any more insights into the Wren 98 vs Wren 108 as daily driver for PNW (In this case Hood). Have powder skis already so leaning towards 98's but would like some additional insights.

I think you'll find they're actually different. They brought a set of white lingerie for the second round.

I'm ok with the original 20 Pillowfights all being one offs - I hope to see one again someday in the flesh. If popular demand brought forth a Supergoat this year, who knows... maybe another Pillowfight shoot if theres enough rabble.

    That was the second shoot.

Edit: Don't have the original on my hard drive, but you get the idea. Sorry Rowen.

    Agreed.

Still have my OG 196 Pillowfights from the first model year, and will never part ways with those sexy beasts. Placed my order the minute they were posted online just to have first choice at topsheets.

...If it ever snows again out here this winter they will hopefully make a triumphant return as it's unfortunately been a few seasons already since they've graced the slopes.

If you are close to a 326mm BSL and interested, you might be able to do more than just drool over some OG's in person.

I managed to size down to 316mm in my new Lange's, but I might be willing to bring my old boots out of retirement for that honor.

Mammoth is now owned by KSL / Aspen so they likely wouldn’t allow them to setup a demo day. Lame, but that’s how it is.

    You heading over for BBI?

...too bad I can't fit in your Supergoats, which look incredible by the way.

I'm going to try and make it for the afternoon one day. Unfortunately, I have to work that weekend. I'll see what I can do.

And, yes the Supergoats are tits. TY

Bear paws are being passed on to a reputable mag and will be making their way back to the padded seats.

Bummer on the limited party time, hombre.

I'm stoked on your choice of recipient for the 191 claws! He'll like those.

My custom Wren 98 184 came last Thursday but we've been tied up with my daughters race team. Finally mounted them tonight with some STH2's. Heading west with them in a couple days. I should be easy to spot

I really need to cycle through the Wren 98 & Kartel 98 one more time. One of them is going to be my low tide ski.
