Had a fun tour from Carson to Kirkwood over a week ago when some buddies from NW were headed down to Mammoth and stopped by Tahoe. I drove up from Oakland for the day to join them... and had to be back to pick up my kiddo by 6, but we made the most of it. Dropped Round Top (the middle line... we followed boot tracks up Crescent, but the snow didn't look as good), sisters, and the shoulder of Melissa Corey into Kirkwood.
