Here's what actually happens:
You show up at 9 am.
You sit in a room with a bunch of people.
You wonder, occasionally, if these are the "peers" so fondly spoken of when looking about the room.
You meet some nice people.
You wait.
You're told to go home at 3:00, but see you tomorrow at 9.
You're curious, but don't ask for an explanation of what the fuck took 6 hours to figure out.

Looks like I'm in for July 7th. Hope I'm not still hung over from July 4th weekend! Definitely bringing the ipod and some trashy magazines or a book.
I don't mind doing my civic duty. Doubt they will pick me though. What, with the annoying tic, noxious cloud, and the hunchback...
