Dead dog is a must ski, one of the best runs I've ever done. LB is right it's a bit of a jong fest, but that can be alleviated as usual by just starting super early or skiing it midweek.

Torrey's north face is freaking awesome - sustained pitch, fun features throughout, lotsa vert. Loved it last year and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. But I'd like to get DD too - never done it. I think the GT trail is just fine for the climb up. The 4wd road is a bear though.

    Welcome JONG!

I had crampons but did not wear them and did not have any problems. The other two in my party did have theirs on, but I think they could have gone either way. I did have an ice axe.

Based on the warmth I would imagine the conditions are far different than they were a week ago.
