Wes was a great guy and a helluva mountaineer. Toured with him a few seasons in the wasatch before he moved to jackson for the better mountains and bigger lines. He was an extremely capable splitter and brought the right attitude to the hill. He knew the mountains, how to navigate them safely and had a drive to get out that inspired friends to do more than they thought was possible. Just a great guy to lose. Best wishes to family, friends and loved ones. I'll try to post some pics, they were some of the more creative and fun day's I've had in the backcountry. RIP buddy, will always respect and remember your ability, outlook on life and drive.
