Tell them that the warranty is running out and this is their chance to fuck Ford over for exorbitant repair work?

That's what I would do, and very specifically ask them to pull any TSB's on it.

Also, consider before your warranty is up, if you want an extended warranty. I believe you can by them from third-parties too.

You can look up the tsb's yourself iirc. If I was in your spot that's where I'd start since then you'd know what issues Ford is already aware of and you can use the terminology from their own literature to discuss it with the service writer.

The good thing about used Raptors is you know they've just had gentle trips to the mall.

Only if it's financed at 14% and parked behind a trailer!

Does it come with the 22" chrome rimz or are those going back to the rent-to-own place?

So far so good. It drives very nicely. Question, it still has a couple of months of factory warranty left. What's the best tactic to have a dealer (I presume) give it the once over and handle anything warranty problems? I was thinking of scheduling an oil change at the dealer and going from there. I've never have a vehicle with a warranty.
I'd have my trusted independent mechanic do the fine toothing before that visit if you're not confident doing it yourself - I wouldn't leave it up to Ford necessarily.

If it only had a Molon Labe sticker, I would buy it.

Does it have the Indmar Raptor engine?

I felt that was played out, and put on a Salt Life sticker in its place. Next to my Aspen sticker.

I think if I ever got the one with the 46s I would automatically be made mayor of the town I'm in.

I saw a hilux in town a few days ago. Left hand drive, 4 door, and surprisingly long bed. Much longer bed that I've seen in any 4 door taco. Does the taco come in that bed length?

Who can fill me in on airbags on the rear. When loaded with family, dog, and desert camping gear (meaning lots of water and extra fuel), our land cruiser is a bit saggy in the rear and I can feel it when off-road (gravel cruising or slow, high clearance, 4lo stuff). Similar performance when hauling other heavy loads and towing heavy-ish stuff (e.g. firewood). It feels good when not as loaded down. It seems that airbags would help.

How do they affect ride quality when the rig is loaded? When they are aired down, it seems that ride quality would be unchanged from current? Currently, I don't want to stiffen or make the ride "harsher" full time or drop a bunch of coin on adjustable shocks. Ride quality, to me, seems relative when loaded. Am I missing something. Thoughts?
