On a closed piste. The gendarmes are determining whether the teacher (who was also injured) should face charges for taking them on the black run, which had been closed all year due to lack of snow. The deaths included two students (14 and 16) and a Ukrainian skier. At least several more were buried apparently.

Good friend of mine went there for ski camp when he was a kid, said he remembers exactly where that is. We were talking about this as it happened on the anniversary of his getting caught in a slide with CMH in 2002. Which is an amazing story, not to threadjack.

11 dead in the alps since last wednesday i think. 5 members of the french foreign legion yesterday in france..
