Has anyone here ridden one? If so what are your opinions? I have only read good things but would love to hear any of your accounts.
I doubt I have the 3000 bucks (buying slightly used) I would need to buy one, but it is a possibility.

Um, I get to borrow my friend's Demo 8 here in a bit, and he used to have a Demo 9 that he loved wholeheartedly. That's all I can give you now, sorry. Good luck!
This touchy-feely Kumbaya shit has got to go.
yup...rode one for a day at Downieville last year. Thing was like riding a sofa over the gnarliest terrain. Can't remember if it had a triple or double chainring up front...but whichever it was, it was surprinsingly easy to peddle uphill too...easy enough to beat Hardrider and Arty50 up the hills on their trail bikes with it![]()

We raced last year with one of the fastest guys in Utah on a Demo9. He loved it. I rode it around a bit but never got to do a full DH run on it; I have been lusting over them since they came out. If you can get one set up with a DH40, you are in DH heaven. I also rode with him on some of the crazy stunts up on Empire in Park City and he killed in on the Demo. Lastly, Kyle Strait seems to like his.![]()

WOULD IT!?!"

A flat!?!? Fuck, on that ride you would have simultaneously blown both tires, exploded the unused tubes sitting in your backpack, and had your patchkit spontaneously combust.Originally Posted by AKA

I took one out for a test ride. Very nice, it climbed well and was very plush on the downhill. To me the rear shock set up looks too busy, it looks like there's lots of stuff that can go wrong- but I guess time will tell.
The price is way out of wack $4700 cdn, I could go out and buy 2 Stinky's for that price. The guy at the shop said the price will probably come way down next year, I can wait.
