    Wolverine 5-10 TR

Met up w/ partners @ 9:00 Aprox 8-10" of heavy density snow at Grizzly trailhead. Conditions fairly henious on skin up Patsey. Low vis and gusty winds w/ snow showers.

Near the top of Pastsy Marley conditons and vis improved

Brian decided to drop Bombay I belive. Top sluffed a little but not bad.

The three of us continued on at the top of Wolverine peak Kyle kicked off a slab of the new snow that ran on bed surface fulltrack through the schythe. Crown visable in pic

Ross and I skied big/bang pressure drop. Decent snow much sluff management and ski cuts required.
I skinned and others booted up grannys. Obseved lightning during an intense snow squall. Ross bootin/postholin up as skies once again cleared.

Snapped this shot of Usa bowl framed by clouds.

From the top of grannys we dropped down to Alta and the car. Boilerplate at top, good windblown pow in mid and heavy by the bottom. A few pics of Kyle on the way down.

Damn decent touring for May hope to get out early tommarrow for something bigger

Just a quick question, Is that guy witha pic "Brian dropping into Bombay" Is that Brian Menzies??? If so i workded with that guy this past winter in alta. I know he is still there now.

This is killing me!!! Tahoe and the Wasatch both get nailed with storms. I'm up in Jackson for the rest of the summer working, oh well.

Probably one of those friends of a friend deals. A super likable and competant touring partner though and this time of year, those can be in short supply. Picked him up @ the Rustler so I'm sure it was. The power of the Holy land is working me. Having knee dropping Alta tele dreams at night, at least before getting my ass kicked in Moe's Tavern yesterday.
