    Full Burial at Stevens Pass

First full burial I'm aware of in the cascades this season.

Guy and gal were on the backside (closed) at Stevens Pass in the middle of a storm cycle.

Go down a ways, dig a pit, learn its unstable.

Start going back up, cross through a slide path, Avalanche.

Gal is buried, guy doesn't know how to use his beacon.

20 mins later, ski patrol helps, she's saved-passing out as she's getting dug out.

    Close call.

Know your shit or your partner is gonna die.

Be smart, don't cross through a slide path, don't do steeps (or go out) in a storm cycle.

Learn from the mistakes of others. Life is precious.

Did they get charged the $1000 minimum Backcountry Rescue Fee?
Is the Fee $1000 per Hour?
