need some fork suggestions 4 RM ETSX

my ETSX rocky mnt's marzocchi front shock died yesterday.

I never liked it to begin with, its high maintenance and I scraped a stension early on and the seals would blow up every 100mi or so.

Anyways, Im a ski gearhead, but not much of a bike gearhead so I would really appreciate the community to give some decent advice on what shock i should look at. Id like something that can take some abuse and treat me right on the trail.

Im no hucker on a bike. I like rough terrain and I like speed. I ride a lot in the summers in the CO front range and nederland, but hopefully will take a trip to CB or Telluride once or twice.

I can post more info if y'all need more to give opinions--

In the past, I wouldn't have recommended pissing on a RockShox product, but I'm really starting to like the Pike. It's gotten great reviews so far, durability seems to be there, though more time will tell, and it apparently performs really well...and it's cheap ($415 at Jenson for the highest end model). The only problem is that you can only get it w/ a 20mm front axel.

If upgrading your front hub doesn't appeal to you, or if you just feel like going all out, you can check out the new All Mountain series from Marzocchi. It's nearly twice the price of the Pike (for the AM1), but you get the smoothness and durability of Marzy's high end forks, plus more adjustability than you'll ever need.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Marzocchi Marathon S is on super sale at Jenson. Don't know what you mean by "rough" but it should keep up with an ETS-X.
