    I won a (real but freshwater, I think its worth $200 or so) pearl necklace in a raffle. Do I give it to the girl I'm dating, but not serious with, we aren't BF/GF.

    Hmmmm, not sure. Would need a bit more information on where you want this relationship to go and if she has items like the necklace already so it would be seen as a nice gift not a really super special gift (i.e. if she's never owned something like that necklace it will carry more emotional weight - do you want that?).

    If you do decided to give it to her or anyone else for that matter don't diminish the gift by saying "I won it in a raffle". Just let them enjoy it. You may not have paid $200 but you did pay for the raffle ticket - doesn't matter what a gift costs just the thought behind it.

    Hey there - another PSA for those of you looking for higher end ideas. Familiar with Sundance? Wow, do they have some fancy pants stuff. Their catalog came last night and I tell you what... if I lived in SV or PC etc. I'd be all over putting on the dog with this stuff but as it is, it's a little over the top for W2 though I will admit to buying a sweater or two:
