Hi..I'm on Dynastar Speed STc's(race).Their old slalom ski from 2002. in a 172.I am about 6' 210. I need a stable ride.These are stable enough for me..on edge..or straight.They are also fairly light..and light feeling.Lively.QUICK! reacting.Versatile and forgiving.I LOVE these skis..but..wanna play around with a bit more sidecut.They are 103/63.
I am a Dynastar skier..and am sortta thinking about a pair of Omecarve's..either 9 or 10..in a 165 or 172. Are the Omecarves similar to my STc's? Appreciate any help! Thanks..Arnold..

I can't give a real comparison between your STs and the newer Omecarves. As far as the Omecarves go, the 9 is softer and has a slightly shorter sidecut. I would consider it very fast edge to edge. Exact turn radius could be found online. The Om. 10 has another layer or two. At your size, if you're skiing fast, I would recommend going for the 10 over the 9.
For length, I (6 ft, 165) would go with a 172 over 165. When i tried to make longer high speed turns with the 165, it felt more apt to try to jump into a shorter radius turn.
