    One bent SuperNobis... please advise...

Yup, it's bent about 6-8 inches from the tip. Haven't measured the deviation, but it definitely doesn't turn like it used to. I noticed it working on the hill this morning, the tip was flopping around and in looking closer, it was JACKED!

Anyone have any experience dealing with Dynastar regarding warranty (or something akin to that...) on bent skis? Maybe a match replacement, or the like? Or even a contact... the local ones are dusting me off and pushing me to pay for a "bend" repair. And, I refuse supporting one of the local shops due to past service and attitude.

The ski looks fine, i.e. doesn't look like it was abused... They are a couple years old, so that's an issue...

Any of your insights would be greatly appreciated!

I'd try to warrenty them. That's a race room ski and didnt' it retail for like $1200 like the legend does. You could at least call Dynastar and see if they have a single laying around. Good luck. 802-764-6400

I got my bent Little Big Fat fixed by Dynastar earlier this year. I took it to Colorado Ski and Golf and had not trouble. Fixed within a few weeks. Just had to pay $20 for shipping. If it is only bent a little bit then they can fix it.

I brought a bent LP to them earlier this year. Bent upwards a few degrees just ahead of the toe piece. Got the ski back later that week almost as good as new. Slightly less camber than the other ski, but it feels dandy in pow. I can still notice it on groomers, but not a huge deal. If possible, get a single- but that will take some luck. They didn't charge me for the bending. As the others said, you'll prob have to pay for some shipping depending on what shop you go through.

    thanks all,

for sharing your experiences. it also looks like it has a torsional bend to it as well.

hmm. might be good timing to consider something new to the quiver... oh the blasphemy!

If you send it in, they may offer you an upgrade, which is usually around shop form, and you could probably get LPs for cheap.

    May I suggest Bros??
A stiff or super stiff may suit you well.
As a big fan of the Super Nobis, I think the Bro is in the same family, with more width, more float and more versatility.

    considering...

tried the Bro with Vets and liked em, but I've already got a pair of Explosives, FFs and Coldsmokes that cover that size (width) and versatility range, so something in the 88-90 range would be ideal.
