They are real amareno cherries, yeah. I don't pay for the luxardo brand-name - I find that Filthy Cherries are just as good and 1/4 as cheap.

Nice tgapp! I'm still working through the last few bags of last years haul. God I love morels.
They had leg quarters on sale super cheap. They're rubbed with minced garlic, ginger, cilantro, lime zest, jalapeno, and salt before going into the foil boat with butter and olive oil. Then they went on the grill over medium heat with apple wood in the smoker box and the rotisserie burner running to color the tops. Really cheap dinner but mighty good eating.

Zucchini tots. Couldn't get them normal tot size but they were good.
2 cups shredded zucchini with water squeezed out. Mix in a bowl with 1 egg, 1/2 cup shredded cheese and 1/2 cup panko crumbs. I added extra cheese and panko plus some bacon crumbles and crumbled feta. A bit of italian seasoning, garlic salt, basil and whatever else you want. Bake at 400 for 30min until golden.

So, a little off topic and late, but a big shout out to Art Shirk and his lovely family for a wonderful, gin-soaked evening of great company and fucking fine-ass steaks et accoutrement at the extremely cool island Shirk compound.
And I'm posting it in this threat because here's Art cooking and using the incredibly compensatory largest pepper grinder in the world. Those aren't the steaks, but some chicken for the girls....
