    It's a Saturday and the skiing sucked. Being eye of round it's a fairly inexpensive meal, was about $25 all in for enough to serve 3-4. Eye of round does really well sous vide. The potatoes look fancy but actually aren't very hard to do.

    Food photography is hard and you do it well ManDan. For subspiritual reasons I wont be dissuaded of, chicken is my personal taboo during salmon-gathering season. Have to admit though, that last pic made me wonder if stolen chicken was the same to the gods?

    Thing one is making a peach cobbler because I bought Costco peaches on Friday and my wife gets really anxious if I buy fruit and it sits on the counter for more than a day. This could probably go in that other thread.
