Prime tri tip from Costco. Great deal. Salted for 8 hrs, garlic, pepper and fresh oregano, thyme and rosemary. Will slow cook and smoke to 110 or so, and then sear.

That was the highlight of our trip to Austria. Certainly was not the skiing. Looks good next ski vacation will be at your house.

Searing in oil and garlic, then placed in my tomato sauce ( gravy) where it will simmer with pork bones, sausage, and meatballs for about 6 hrs

A big batch of chicken Tikka Masala

starting with a family sized tray of boneless/ skinless chicken thighs is the easiest, augment with a few containers of frozen whatever veg didnt get cooked or eaten that are collected and frozen, so spinach/ tomatoes/ broccoli, nuke a large potatoe and dice it up, frozen peas, all the extra vegys will double the yield.

Chop up a big handful of cilantro, shave up a large chunk of ginger, cook it all up according to the instructions on the 2 bottles of Pataks cooking sauce, gives me 6 individual meals in Anchor Hocking microwave dishes

I usually nuke for 10 min. and warmup in a sauce pan, add Sirachi/ chili powder ect for flavor gives me 6 quick meals if i don't wana cook

start collecting vegys in the freezer for the next batch

But for dinner I got a tuna steak, brine for 1/2 hr quick sear serve with ginger wasabi

What's wrong with Patak's? I use it. Thing#1 prefers the kit over the jar and he's not wrong. Whole spices FTW.

well ya why not ?? Its mostly Tomato & some yogurt, some spices so whats in the bottle thats gona be any different than what I would make from scratch and how many recipes do I wana try when I could just use the Pataks is my take ?

I never order out or eat at restaurants so here I got 6 GOOD meals for cheap instead of ordering bad take-out for a way mo money

An ex-gf did this whole " I'm a special flower so I can't eat that " yeah so you show up hungry unannounced on a tuesday nite at 9pm, so this is what I got for a healthy super quick meal, if you think you can find a better deal go for it babe !

its like the tuna I had tonite was frozen but from what I read they quick freeze it right on the catcher boat, so do i wana get some fresh tuna of dubious freshness or just get the fast frozen stuff ?

The tennants son just brought up 3 pieces of local salmon, now that shit is fresh eh !

Apple crisp in the oven, made with gala apples, raisins, honey, unrefined cane sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and sea salt, covered by a crumble of quick oats, white flour, light brown sugar, unrefined cane sugar, corn oil, sea salt and cinnamon.

It's gotten to where I want make it every time I see apples.

Making some green chili. It's sacrilege in some circles but I buy fresh Anaheim chilies at King's and roast em in the grill. This batch will yield like 2 pints of finished sauce and had 10 nice large chilies.
