Brit just made me realize I've been an asshole to everyone here, and I'd like to say I'm sorry. I considered starting a thread about it, but then I'd probably just delete it later when I came to my senses. I've had insecurity issues ever since I found out 33 yrs ago as a teenager my mother was a sex slave in Rangoon and my dad was not my real dad. I've carried this weight long enough and its time to come clean. I hope you all can forgive me for being an asshole, and understand as I move on with my life and try to become a better human being. For me the decision tree is quite simple. Will sandwich be consumed on site? Yes, ok to put lettuce above cheese/meat, mixed any way w tomatoes and condomints. If the sandwich will be transported to another location or will sit in a wrapper for >5 minutes, it is imperative to protect the integrity of the bread by putting lettuce against the top side of the sandwich immediately under the bread. Then stash all gut-friendly condomints between the cheese and the lettuce. You can adapt this strategy to non burger style sandwiches with the same porpoise of keeping bread dry and fresh. Very juicy burgers require a horizontally aligned box for transport, along with a grease catch in the form of raised styrofoam rows to shield the all important bread from sog.

After all, even ambien doesn't cure a soggy sammy.
