IMO something must be done to help people with PTSD. More research and to that end raising funds for same? Shorter tours for military? Increased safety nets? Whatever might help, try it until we find a solution to the horrible pain these individuals are living with because it is as deadly as cancer and we need to find a solution if not a cure.

I didn't miss it. Drowning you sorrows in alcohol is pretty widely discouraged by everyone. There are plenty of people from all different perspectives that acknowledge that there is beneficial uses for cannabis and this will only continue to grow as it becomes more accepted. Show me one instance where drowning your sorrows in alcohol is recommended by anyone.

I think the issue a lot of people have is this apples to apples comparison of alcohol and Cannabis.

They are not the same. Not even close.

Medical research does not exist, because the illegality of Cannabis on a Federal level. That does not negate therapeutic benefits.

As far as I know alcohol has no medicinal value other than washing a wound, with some PGA. Maybe hangover cure the next day.

I don't have any medical issues thankfully, and recreate with both alcohol and Cannabis.
