Remains to be seen if it really happens, they haven't sent a proposal to the band yet.
One restriction would be a 9:00 ending time...it's still light out by then in mid August.
If it does happen, it will be awesome to ride bikes to the shows.

Anyone catch the Phobby show at Radio City last night? Got a stream for second set, good stuff. Supposedly Trey joins tonight, course that was the rumor for both shows.

[grumpy old contrarian] but some NASA genius was able to somehow predict the eclipse a decade ago, and people started booking hotel rooms three years ahead. This is going to have a five-month lead time at best. Room rates will spike, many people will say fuck spending $500/night for a room and camp all over the place. Right in peak tourist, fire, and road construction season. Sure, it will all work out. But it's going to leave a lot of ugly shit in it's wake. [/grumpy old contrarian]

and yes, of course i'm going to try and score tickets!

Haha Touche, I was being partially tongue in cheek. Should be a good time if they can get it figured out!

I watched the first set. Pretty good. Weir was playing well. Kept waiting for Trey to walk out. Still good without an added guitar

Trey eventually walked out. I should've gone to that show.

    Dead and Company.

Without Trey it reminds me of Weir/Wasserman, always thought that combo needed Kimock to spark the flame. I’m going to Boston on Wednesday, figures we’re finally getting snow same night at the Loaf.

Similar feelings here. That duo was good but needed a spark.

Damn Tetons are in a good pattern. Just in time for me to go to Chicago for the shows next wknd. I will forget about the snow when they take the stage tho. I need some tunes! Especially the type where I don’t have family obligations the next morning by the time the sun comes up.

    Have fun in Boston!

I've heard tales about this Nitrous Mafia being a bunch of Russian scumbags. In MA and RI anyway. Dmitri ? I wouldn't buy anything from those sketchballs. I wanna protect what few brain cells I still have left.
In other news, this Radio City show is sweeeeeet

I suggest a silent hippie disco in protest. Bunch of folks tripping ballz to a gem dead show with headphones on would be mildly amusing to say the least.

I hear ya. Toying with letting my Chicago tix go too and watching from my living room. Kids are begging me to stay and ski this wknd.
You know you’re aging when the thought of sitting on your couch, watching shows is almost as exciting as being there!
