Holy F, this thing is fancy for a subie. Didn't catch a lot of the details in test ride

Never had voice control for everything like this has. Seats are waaaaay more comfy than all my other subies

Sharp looking wagon! I'm a sucker for sand/light gold colored cars lately.

    Wagon Stoke

Just picked up this beauty today to replace my TDI. I dove the allroad and it was so soft and not responsive at all the steering also so over powered but not this 328 it's so much fun in the corners. Next stop the tire shop to replace these all seasons and pray for snow in the northeast .

Speaking of used cars, this guy made a nice vid to sell his GF’s shitty Accord and now they’re getting $100k bids.

Really like bimwagons but the Audi was OVER powered? I could see that being a bit aggravating in a front wheel wagon due to understeer but...

I read that as steering was overpowered, as in too much assist and too little feel...

Curious if anything changed with the Allroad power steering after the reintroduction in 2013. I assume its the same at the 2012 Avant? My 2012 Avant seems to have perfect steering power balance. It's not "light" but I'm also not fighting the wheel in hard corners at 60mph.

I fucking love this car, but just broke 123k. For a 5ish year old car. Damn. Playing the game now of how long can I keep it. Hoping to be able to afford a cheap truck soonish without having to sell my wagon.

Woah! I hadn't seen this! Just spent a few minutes reading about John Dodd's "The Beast" and how it used to have a Rolls Royce grill, seein' as it has a 27 liter RR motor from a Spitfire in it. Holy smokes. I read a funny fact (rumor?) that RR got wind of it because a German customer tried to place an order for one after he was passed in his Porsche by it on the Autobahn.

From the WSJ on Friday: https://www.wsj.com/articles/station...mph-1510256383

Someone tell BMW they’re not paying attention - keep the Long roof, ditch that garbage GT shit.

Get ready to pull the motor and do the chains and tensioner. Surprised it made it that long without having the work done. Curious to hear it start cold.

Yeah, I was just asking a buddy who owned a V8 S4 how much that might cost. I understand labor is pricey due to location (unless you DIY)

My understanding is 6-8k at a shop. JHM has a pretty good kit to upgrade everything once in there too. I sold mine with 30k so never had to worry about it. Miss that car.

Lots of wagon stoke about today.

Merc wagon fastest around the 'ring

Still baffled that given the damned millenials want wagons and BMW is pulling their last one from our shores. One that they could actually target to, ya know, damned millenials.

Book time is like 28 hours or so plus 3k in parts. Whoever picks up that car is dropping 5k very soon. The third owner had it for 5k miles and looks like it was financed, so it's on the block now after what I'm guessing are some seriously rattled starts. I remember that sound well.

I mean sure, but who couldn't at least match that in Letterman and Newman's V8-manual swapped 960 wagons?
