Speaking of the Taycan Sport Turismo, I always notice this one house on my dog walks that has a rotating cast of sweet VAG cars in the drive - turns out it’s the CEO of Porsche N.A.’s house and this is what he’s currently using as his daily. Probably the coolest Taycan I’ve ever seen in New Brewster Green Metalic and gold Porsche Exclusive Manufactur wheels.

    So classy.

Man, couple of good ones! That audi rs2 is BADASS! And yeah, I wouldn't kick that green Porsche off the driveway. (E39 540i would continue to stay in the garage.)

On a related note, although not a wagon, Porsche also made a V8 Mercedes sedan in that same time period (which is one of the best periods for German cars imo.) I know you guys like wagons, but V8 German sedans are what really do it for me.

I've always loved the story of the 500 E.

IIRC there's one in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.

‘75 Chevy Vega Kammback wagon just listed near me with a 355ci and ready to go for $10k. Should probably budget another grand for rear tire shredding.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

My brother (the one you met) had a Monza V-eight (fucking emojis). Monza was just a Vega with a slightly cooler body. Couldn’t keep tires on it nor could he keep it out of the ditch if the road was slightly moist. Not wagon related but a couple of connections so…

"This is my 1965 Plymouth Valiant. It has a 225 Slant Six and a 904 Torqueflite automatic transmission. The steering system was rebuilt last year with parts from RockAuto including pitman and idler arms, all ball joints, tie rod ends, bushings, etc. Numerous other RockAuto parts were used such as a carburetor kit, head gasket kit, water pump, cooling hoses, and the multitude of parts that were needed to make the car roadworthy after 22 years of storage.

This car was purchased new by my grandparents and provided them with 100% reliable transportation, never failing to start or breaking down. Grandma passed in 1982, and I’ve had the car ever since. I drove it off and on until 2001 when I parked it because of steering problems.

This car is original and unrestored; it has never had any body work and only normal service parts have been replaced. With RockAuto's help, it’s back on the road!

Much love to all the 500E's, but the wagon version deserves some spotligt, per this thread. I think I posted these links upthread in the last year or two, but this/these longroofs are always a sight for sore eyes. Some Friday worship to the sole W124 500E AMG Hammer wagon that was built.

Yes, not exactly wagons, but thought I'd share. I really like this car. Where in the world am I? Also ... wait for it ...

Yeah, but it’s cheaper once you consider the exchange rate. It’s actually only $423k USD. A bargain really.

Nice. I hooked up with a chick in high school whose dad had one of those. Lots of space IIRC.

He is a dentist and a really good skier, not kidding, so sorry if you're reading this.
