Having Autoworks in 4c look at it next week on your previous rec, Montucky.
Come and go is suspension. I have that. Not worth chasing if the control arms and other bits are safe.

This checks out- I'll ask the techs to look, thanks!

When I first got it last spring, I noticed that car's bow jumps up more than I'd like it to when I punch the gas hard from a stop. It also has way more body roll than either of my previous V70s did. Feels/sounds fine when I hit bumps, though.

I just chalked the squishyness up to the "XC" letters on the back, but maybe something else is going on...

Trying to come up with a reason to buy this:

    https://carsandbids.com/auctions/9aL...udi-a4-allroad

By far my favorite body style for the a4 allroad. Too fast to buy for my son, and maintenance/service is a potential nightmare.

Wow, that's a really cool build. It has to be pushing way more than the 333hp listed in the ad, as a Stage 1 APR tune will get you that in the 2.0 4-banger in the regular B8.5 allroad.

Stage 2 dual pulley on that engine is almost 470 with 93.

Holy crap that's got to be so much fun in that platform.

I still miss my B8.5 every time I see one. Just the perfect size car for space+handling. Pure fun.

Anybody running a stage I ecu tune for a B9 A4? Our 2017 Allroad just came off warranty. Sitting at 60k miles. Too late to consider this or go for it? Haven’t decided between APR and IE. Thoughts on one vs the other?

I can't say enough good things about the APR Stage 1 I did on my B8.5. Have to assume the B9 is as good and likely better.

Put mine on at 1[emoji[emoji642]4[emoji642]][emoji[emoji642]4[emoji642]]k. Worth it.

Edit: one hundred thousand miles. Stupid TGR.

Had a good experience with APR, and would do that again. No experience with competitors.

I have the 034 Motorsports Stage 1 engine and Stage 1 transmission tune on my SQ5 (yes, not a wagon) and I love them. I would recommend them as I didn't find any horror stories when researching their tunes and have been very happy with the results. It gets up and GOES.

Wagon was a tow in. Sudden fuel pressure loss on freeway. Could be a number of things. Click image for larger version.

Oh no! Hopefully it's something as simple as a fuel sensor or at worst a fuel pump. Good luck, man.

Thanks. The shop replaced the leaking fuel sender quite a while ago in 22 but could still be the hose just slipped off the new one. It was sudden and complete loss of power.

Car runs great so likely not a terminal blow.

^^A few sand bags and two studs in the rear are all that guy needs to make it through a Montana winter. Love it. ^^

    Wagon Stoke

Saw the new Toyota Crown Signia this morning. Didn’t know that existed…. I’ve always thought a Lexus IS wagon should exist. This Crown might be the closest we’ll ever get..

They did a limited run of IS300 wagons in the mid 2000s. One was just on BAT or Carsandbids cant remember which.

Huh. I had no idea they were going to make this! Wasn't the Crown essentially the replacement for the Avalon? If so, that should mean a pretty spacious interior with loads of legroom!

Car actually doesn't look half bad! I just wish the marketers had the balls to call it a wagon. But nope. Once again, they're labeling it an "SUV." Just like the Ioniq5. Not an SUV but of course mislabeled as such. So annoying but they know what sells to basic suburban white chicks, so I guess I can't blame them.

I’m going to call that a large hatchback, not a wagon.

Look at that thing, just lurking in the streetlights.

Is that a Pontiac Safari or a Caprice Classic wagon?

I see the Crown pretty often but it's a tall, fastback sedan. Looks like a nice car but resembles the Prius too much.

The Crown Signia linked above is definitely not a sedan. New for 2025.

Yeah. I suppose that would be more accurate.
