    SRAM x01 shifter question

So I've got the 1x 11 setup, match maker right lever. With everything as inboard as possible I still hit my thumb knuckle on the shift lever when braking was 2 fingers. On my last bike (xtr equipped) I ran the shift levers inside the brake levers.

Anyone ever take a left sided match maker thing and put it on the right lever or flip the right one over to move the shifters inboard? If I wasn't a lazy fuck I would just go take it apart and see if it works....

This may not be 100% the answer but you should just start braking with one finger. It really is a good thing to do and is not hard to get used to when you commit to it- then becomes totally natural.
Usually the pointy finger but we noticed from Windam DH race photos this w/e that Missy Giove (making a mini comeback) was braking with her middle finger!
    kinda appropriate for her personality

Yes, you can swap them, I did that to get my shifters and levers aligned where I wanted. Shifter is as far in as it can go relative to the lever and I one finger brake. Best picture I have already online, you can see it's pretty far in there:

Have seen the middle finger braking, makes sense, you get to keep your index finger on the bar so possibly a better grip.

Thanks, I kinda bump them enough to have a sore knuckle even one finger braking

You know what they say. Big hands, big gloves.
