Two and a half days into the trip and we're all really getting our AK legs underneath us when we go to this side aspect of Prosciutto... nice face with a small bergschrund to jump near the bottom. The group's pretty much through it and there still a ton of open just requiring a little traverse to the entry instead of immediate fall line. So to set up the last one through Theo gets on the radio (absolute necessity for this stuff) and tells "MR" to go for this thing that looks like an ass once he's onto the face, like right between the two cheeks which will put him across the first bergschund plus an additional one directly below. MR gets a nut for this ass crack I guess, because he comes onto the face in full attack mode for the first time in the trip. Two set up turns, three huge carves, waylaid the fuck outta of the gap and the two bergschrunds, came Mach'in into the flats and shut her down just fine. A couple of days later I was back at the base of this piece and wish I had a photo of the track because it was new school perfection.
