    Colorado mags alert

Was just informed that it's snowed 6 inches in the last 6 hours at Winter Park. Fairly light. Berthoud should be deep blower. Contemplate.

Yep, we've gotten roughly 6 to 8 inches today, and some light & dry coming in right now up here (just about a hundred miles to the north of WP). It is supposed to continue into tomorrow.

Would like to catch up as well. Now that I'm back from AK I can get a little more silly and not risk missing a huge trip. I'm sure you guys would know where to get the goods as well. Hucking would be the top priority.

The snotel site on BP is reporting a decrease in snow depth in the past 12 hours...

I'll still be up there Saturday morning, hoping to scrap sloppy seconds. Just one more faceshot, that's all I ask.

I wanna be there to witness. That sucker is huge. I would say in the 40-50' range. Would you agree? Chances are I will be there Saturday. Will bring digi SLR and shoot. It's been cold all week, with very minimal sun, so the snow up there is still on the soft side. Around 20" of new on Monday, 3-5" on Tuesday, and another few inches here and there for the rest of the week.

Yeah id say atleast 40 depending how much speed you took off the top.... if its as soft/softer than it was when we were there, i think it would be perfect...

It is dumping here in Boulder. At least 6 inches or more since 5 pm (it is now 11 pm).

I will be at Berthoud Saturday morning with PowderPig and hope to see a few of you there. It should be going off with more snow expected for tomorrow.

    Brett,

Yeah, I will show you around a bit on Saturday. At the rate things are going, things will be ripe for jumping off of stuff. Give me a call tomorrow afternoon/night and we'll make plans. Bring that vid cam of yours. I have a couple of things in mind.

    telechuck, Z & powpig,

I'm thinking of getting an early start, so let me know what your plans are. Wouldn't mind carpooling or something.

Will call you tomorrow afternoon. Sounds like MD9 is down, maybe throw in a upsidedown phishshow, and the regular suspects. Word.

Looks like I'll likely be up there too with snowfire, full SLR gear with me, possibly her mang GFP too. So...we should shoot, huck, and grill or something. Where's that Foggy kid when you need him?

You can mark that as 11" in 24 hours on the ground in the town of Winter Park. Conditions on the pass are atrocious. I-70 is a parking lot.

    Enjoy it you bastards!

Sweet, I will bring grillin' food if someone ponies up a grill. I can throw in a few High Life's and Olympia's too. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

Z, can I hitch a ride with you? PM sent with cell digits.

    Looks like a fun crew...

What time is everyone thinking of heading up there? I have family in town all weekend, but would love to sneak out even if it is for just two runs. It would have to be early, like 6-9am. According to the radar it looks like it is still snowing at the pass. Tommorow should deliver for whatever it is you are looking.
