Swelling went down a bit yesterday, but I still went to the Doc and got a tetanus shot and a scrip for antibiotics.

Finger feels a little better today, not as tender.

I got bit a week ago. Doc said I made the right decision to go. Cat bites can get infected much more quickly, at least according to him, than dog bites.

    You got me there.

Dog bites BTW are pretty benign, as far infection, at least compared to cats. And people are the worst. If you punch someone in the face make sure you hit the nose, not the mouth. Bad infection of the first knuckle can ruin your hand.

Yep. Had this happen in HS. Blasted some kid in the mouth, cut my hand open on his braces & ended up in the hospital for a week with a strep infection in my hand.

Fortunately, there were no long term issues with the hand/wrist/arm.

My cousin broke up a nasty cat fight and was bitten in the process. Got a nasty infection in his hand and it was actually touch and go relating to amputation of the hand for a couple days. Cat bites are nasty. Don't wait around for this to just "go away".

Well ya. I will have to show my wife that comment so she knows it's not just me telling her that. Those 2 cats fucked her arm up.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

I suggested a water hose with the nozzle on "Blast Em", but close. Thanks for playing.

This thread has me rethinking letting the Border Collie go flying out the back door anytime I see one of the neighborhood feral cats taking a dump in my landscaping.

I might have to break out the hose on the asshole neighbor that feeds and breeds this massive clan of feline shit machines.

Break it up? The hose is to make the mud pit, and maybe rinse them down from time to time.
