even if you go with the 5-10% non-fucked-with figure its still a gain in green veg over the very enviros that should be declining according to the study you posted.
I don't put any faith in predictions like that simply because Im unaware if any climate prediction of the past 15-20 ever being close to accurate. I think the IPCC has badly missed 5-6 in a row??
and here i thought all along that you were all about doing what the science tells you to do. and now you admit to just picking and choosing the science that suits you.
don't follow? example of cherry picking? example of a prediction being accurate?
you are aware observation trumps hypothesis??
bwahahahahahah
i declare victory.
lol
You know I don't feed screenings - I really have no idea where all the clover popped up from and the funny thing is it isn't in the pastures that surround this particular one. It's that low growing yellow flowered stuff that you can't mow. A real bitch to deal with. I admit I hadn't been paying attention to the stuff low on the ground - just addressing the stuff sticking up like Mare's Tail, Kochia, Mustard, Lambs Quarter, Thistle, Tumbleweed, White Top, Milkweed, Wild Carrot, Water Hemlock, Salsafiy, Watergrass and Pigweed (I'm sure I missed a few in there).
BTW - I can send you some Kochia if you'd like![]()
Wow I do not envy you. what are you using to mow? I generally use a brush hog but usually clip at 4-6". Flail mower sounds like it would be ideal for what you are doing. have you thought of rotating sheep and/or goats? they seem to like weeds more than anything else. Other than a few thistles here and there (easily mowed before flowering) our pastures are virtually weed free thanks to them.
Alaska seems to be burning according to this http://www.washingtonpost.com/rweb/w...tid=kindle-app
Any locals confirm?
Also, my perception of Alaska is that if it got super dry, a large fire could burn for thousands and thousands of square miles. Is that accurate? Other than the mountains in some areas and large rivers in others, it is pretty much just continuous words right?
minneapolis is heavily polluted by smoke from canadian wildfires
today you can smell it very clearly
the sky looks very bad

Well luckily, now we can give this "global warming" nonsense a rest and focus on the real priorities of writing legislation that pleases our lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Interestingly though, a lot of that legislation will probably not please our gardner and landscaper, Jesus Hernandez.
i don't know man. just hoping were not at the point of no return. shit seems bleak. hope i'm wrong

Basically we are fucked.
haven't we had proclaims years before that we only had 10 years, more than 10 years ago ?
I'm skeptical of both sides, the CO2 crowd and the anti-CO2 crowd that largely believes the sun is at fault as we are not increasing temps in the past 3 years, nor declining as the sun is in a minimum now.
I lay blame on weather patterns where cali is hot and dry and has been for a while because of weather patterns.

Jesus, you're stupid.
Just like when you said "Harvey won't fuck up Houston, it's all overblown"
1896 Arrhenius publishes first calculation of global warming from human emissions of CO2.
1938 Callendar argues that CO2 greenhouse global warming is underway, reviving interest in the question.
1963 Calculations suggest that feedback with water vapor could make the climate acutely sensitive to changes in CO2 level
1976 Studies show that CFCs (1975) and also methane and ozone (1976) can make a serious contribution to the greenhouse effect
1981 Election of Reagan brings backlash against environmental movement to power. Political conservatism is linked to skepticism about global warming.
1985 Ramanathan and collaborators announce that global warming may come twice as fast as expected, from rise of methane and other trace greenhouse gases
1995 Second IPCC report detects "signature" of human-caused greenhouse effect warming, declares that serious warming is likely in the coming century

Sure people have said it, but not from the IPCC or a equally credible source. Additionally we may have already passed it, there may be almost no way to avoid 1.5C without massive carbon recapture. As the report says, if we took all those actions it is only more likely than not we can avoid it. If the permafrost starts melting faster or other feedbacks kick in then we probably can’t. This report also considers recapture efforts, many in the past did not include them. If we can’t even agree to get rid of coal, how are we going to agree to pay for recapture?
So unbelievably depressing. It feels so hopeless given the solution involves politicians who can’t even agree it’s happening.
