    FS: KARHU JAKS

I am selling a pair of 190cm Karhu Jaks for $275. They have been drilled for Fritchi Freerides AT bindings. Currently the skis are mounted with the bindings (I will entertain offers for the skis with the bindings mounted). These skis have seen snow 4 times. This is a great ski with nimble snappy feel. Must sell. If you have any questions, you can email me at rfordiani@yahoo.com. Thanks.

If they were 180s I'd be all over them...got 170's and found them too short, but 190s too long...

I have heard that the Jak's are somewhat softer than the Motherships, I think the factory puts two titanium bands on the Mothership and only one on the Jak. Any twin-tip ski will ski short, and any directional twin-tip ski (like the Jak is - the tail twin-tip is half the height of the tip twin-tip). For skiing powder, I want a big running surface (contact point to contact point) because it floats way better.

The Jak was built for telemarkers/AT'ers - it has a more even flex, whereas the Mothership was built for alpine skiers, and it's stiffer once you get past the shovel. I have skied on them both in deep powder. But unlike most telemark skis, the Jak will accept alpine ski bindings...

The Jak is stiffer than the Pocket Rocket and the Bandit XXX/B3, but that's not saying much...

How much for the skis and bindings? I assume they're medium-size AT bindings.

well mr. Rob F, you didn't by chance purchase these skis from EvoGear.com for the smokin' price of $190 like I did to no pawn them off on us for a handsome profit, eh?

By the way, these skis are sicky for pow and all thinks BC. I dig mine.

mmmmmh, jaks ski short. My 190 jaks feel defintely shorter than my 188 soft BROs. And jaks are a bit stiffer than pocket rockets but softer than B3, gotamas, softBROs...
