    LX shifters
    Truvativ Crank/bash
    Hayes 8in hydros
    easton bar, post, stem
    Chris king headset
    Mavic 321 rims, dimension hubs
kenda kevlar 2.6 tires (stock i think)

You want to hear it so YES it is a deal.

Actually I am not sure, but it sounds pretty sweet. First not much of a Manitou fan, but can't really say shit, cause I don't own one. Second, what kind of Hayes hydros, besides 8 inch? All other components sounds good. But still sounds pricey too me.

    Used or new?

BTW, I love my SC Blur

Edit: Remember... You can't take it with you. But he who dies with the most toys wins.

I haven't heard anything great about the HFX 9's other than to go for the Mags if I can, so I did last year.

The good thing is that it sounds like, for a used bike that may be a deal. Not sure, haven't looked for a VP.

The only problem I may see, is that it has been maintained by a shop employee. That could be good and bad. Either he knows how to ride and beat a bike or that he baby's the shit out of his bikes. From what you are saying, it sounds like he baby's it. I am not sure if I would rather buy a bike from some jong that doesn't know anything about his bike, other than it was the cheaper bike he was talked into buying or that it was taken care of and bought by a bike weenie.

Tough decisions. I always like to buy my bikes close to me if they are on the net, so I can test them before buying.

All I can say is good luck.

Meh. I'd get an IH 7point5 from Supergo for $2450 new. Comparable build, and if you don't like Boxxers you could sell it on ebay, buy something else nice, and probably still come out under the $2800.

Depending on pictures and condition I would say yes but offer 2750 shipped. With that kit BroSRP would be around 3200 new. If you is a shop dude, he prob. has around 2900 in it and is looking for a break even. You get a cool bike new to you and he gets to have the "new thing"
    What am I thinking......

    DO IT.

If you don't buy it, I'd be more than happy to.

lph absolutely loves his and I've putzed around on it a little and am trying realllllllly hard not to buy one. Luckily, I can't really afford a new bike. But really, when has that stopped me in the past.

Buy it, yes, but have it shipped to me. I will test ride it in all different conditions over the summer and will let you know for sure whether you got a good deal.
I can't understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I'm frightened of the old ones.
