I'm getting these popups when logged in. If I click on the popup, it asks me if I want to log in or create an account.

Now, I'm not much of a perlish or PHP programmer, but really, the code can't determine if the user is already logged in?

my user name is showing in the upper right, but, if i want to add a video or picture, the link asks me to "log in"?

user interface is definitely overly complicated

Seriously, it makes it harder to navigate back and takes up entirely too much of the screen real estate. How often do people hit the links at the top vs. other forums from a metrics perspective? I'm guessing not much.
Bad UI decisions abound.
